Renault has unveiled the first images and information of the DeZir Concept, an electric 2-seater coupé designed under Laurens van den Acker that previews the brand's future design direction towards a more emotional styling. It will debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.
Debuting at the next 2010 Paris Motor Show, the Renault DeZir Concept is the company's first project led by Laurens van den Acker. It provides a preview of the future design direction, which is announced to be committed to a more emotional styling.

DeZir is a two-seater coupé powered by an electric motor. The exterior is characterized by smooth yet sculptural shapes inspired by liquids, with a dynamism underlined by the bold white and red contrasting colors.
The two gull-wing doors open in opposite directions and are inspired by a ying and yang-style harmony.
The front-end design has a strong graphic character and previews the new front-end identity that is will become a trademark feature on the future Renault models.
The interior has a futuristic look and is dominated by white color. Among the distinctive elements is the one-piece, two-seater front leather benchseat.
According to Renault, Dezir is the first of a new series of show cars that will be inspired by the brand's 'Drive the Change' motto.
