This machine is invented by German engineer Felix Wankel named. He created the rotary engine in the 1950's at NSU Motorenwerke AG.
Ato rotary engine could also be called a Wankel engine is a combustion engine driven by the pressure generated by combustion converted into rotary motion that drives the rotor axis. This machine is unique because it doubles as the engine piston and has a rotating motion (rotation), not like other engines commonly vertically moving horizontal ato.
One of the advantages of rotary engine is the engine compact & power output generated considerable although relatively small engine capacity. Initially the many manufacturers who use this machine like GM, Mercedes Benz, Mazda, Rolls Royce etc. But among all manufacturers currently only manufacturer Mazda are serious in developing rotary engines.
Until now, the rotary engine is required to spur the kitchen in the ranks of the Mazda RX series sports cars. We take the example of Mazda RX8, cuman engine capacity 1300 cc but its power output reached 232 hp
